I designed a timeline about the roll of the women during the independence and the develop towards the Republik in Argentina. The Revolution in this South-American Country had been always an important example to lots of events around Latin-American History. Knowing your history it's very important, but also to acknowledge the "invisible" work some people made in the past in order to accomplish important goals, in matters like human rights, independence, decolonization, etc.
The format I chose for the timeline was A3. This decision was important for me, because I wanted to create a timeline book, so one can have the information in the hands. I printed and built a Leporello out of it.
The Information is separated in two ways of reading. The vertical form explains important facts of the history and the horizontal presents the names of the women, who were relevant and accomplished important goals on that time.
Both selected color purple and green are relevant in the actual Women Emancipation Movement.
